Deon and Kevin have been in the music industry for over 30 years playing in various bands. Deon spent many years on the professional circuit touring South Africa. They formed a band called @last and performed at the boardwalk casino super sport arena for four years as the resident band. Quite an accomplishment for Port Elizabeth. They performed at many corporate functions throughout South Africa. They started their own music shop called Tempo Musiek with their late father Neels Mattheus one of the best concertina players in South Africa and winner of the boeremusiek competition on TV2.

They release their first cd “so ja” at the end of 2006. The format of the band changed when they released their cd to include deons daughter Michelle a very accomplished multi instrumentalist. Kevin’s daughter jo-anne joined the band on bass and vocals and adds the drive of the band with her father.
